Thunderbird users may be interested in this message from David Ascher, who is heading off the newly spun-off "MailCo" company. He wants to get a public "milestone" build of Thunderbird 3 in 2008, with calendaring support, better search, better extensions, and more. "Thunderbird's impact is proportional to its user count.
