KOffice is a
free/open-source office suite developed for
KDE
(the K Desktop Environment). The software is primarily
designed for UNIX and
Linux operating systems,
but there are plans to support Microsoft Windows in the future
(as of Summer 2007).
The suite includes quite a number of components, the most important of
which are KWord (word processor), KSpread (spreadsheet),
KPresenter (a presentation package),
Kexi (database management application),
Kivio (flowcharting),
KPlato (project management),
Krita (bitmap image painting/manipulation)
and
Karbon14 (vector drawing).
